Sorting, Dumping and Sometimes Throwing

Sorting, Dumping and Sometimes Throwing

Something as simple as a box of dried pasta can create hours of play for our littles!

At Dodo's house we pretty much play with everything. Dried pasta is something I grab when I want to mix things up, literally. One of my grandbabies at present has severe food allergies. We are actively praying it away but for now we do not have anything with wheat around her. I always keep BANZA pasta in stock in my pantry.  I load up when they are on sale so I have options for cooking and playing. It is literally that easy mamas and grandmas. Grab some spoons, measuring cups, plastic containers and or sorting toys and get down on the floor, not so easy, then dump and play. Then repeat.

If you really want to get fancy and messy, you can bring out the paint and add some color to your pasta but definitely not necessary. Simple is better in this Dodo's book. Less is more, wink, wink. And painting is best when done in the months you can be outside and hose those little fingers and even toes down before heading back inside. But no paint means you can hang in the kitchen and maybe even get a few minutes to start supper if you are super stealthy. How cute are these toes?
